A bus caught fire, Friday, while traveling from Tetouan to Fez on the national road connecting Tetouan and Chefchaouen. The incident occurred in the Beni Hassan region, according to an eyewitness.

The fire started around 9:00 AM, forcing all passengers, numbering over 40, to evacuate the bus. While there were no injuries, the passengers lost their luggage to the flames, which reduced the bus to a metal frame.

Traffic on the road was halted for over an hour as firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze. Normal traffic resumed after the fire was contained.
