Morocco was elected, Thursday in Bonn, as a co-chair of the Paris Committee for the reinforcement of capacities regarding climate alongside Finland. A leading role that the Kingdom is playing in the international organization for the fight against climate change. To maintain sustainable development, Morocco is considering Nuclear Power Energy as a source of electricity for its 2030 energy mix plan. With the help of the International Atomic Energy Agency, the Kingdom is evaluating the possibility of this long-term project contributing in the production of nuclear power in Africa.
The practice of harvesting fog has granted the region of Boutmezguida access to potable water and sustainable development. Initiated in the pre-Saharan area by Dar Si Hmad, the project has increased girls’ enrollment levels in schools.
