85-million-year-old dinosaur footprints in Morocco

Three years ago, enormous footprints were discovered by the Anza shore in Agadir. The fossils that were exposed by the tide are dinosaurs’ footprints that date back to 85 million years ago. Scholars and civil society is calling now for the protection of the paleontological site and scientists want to build a barrier around the fossils. The discovery has now been reported by the Journal of African Earth Sciences.
