A 5.1 magnitude earthquake hit Tuesday, January 2, the Beni Mellal Khenifra region, in central Morocco, The national geophysics institute reported. The earthquake occurred at 8:37 am. The institute indicated that the epicenter of this earthquake is located in the Ait M'Hamed commune, in the Azilal province.
