Guerguerate : «The war against Morocco is only in its first phase», threatens Bachir Sayed

After meeting the Mauritanian President on Wednesday, Polisario envoy Bachir Mustapha Sayed addressed the Front’s withdrawal from the 1991 ceasefire when speaking to Mauritanian media.

«We are at war even if Morocco does not recognize it. For now, these are just warm-ups as sportsmen say. The war is only in its first phase», he said. 

Sayed welcomed «Morocco's losses [which] are real», without giving further details. Since the operation led by the Moroccan army to secure the flow of goods and people in Guerguerate on November 13, the Polisario has fired only one rocket on January 23, recognized by Morocco and relayed by foreign media.
