Amine Adli, the 24-year-old Moroccan forward, is in a unique position, benefiting from the guidance of two highly regarded coaches in the world of football. As reported by The National, Adli is thriving under both Xabi Alonso at Bayer Leverkusen and Walid Regragui with the Moroccan national team.

On the international stage, Adli has found equal success under Regragui, who led Morocco to a historic World Cup semi-final appearance in Qatar in 2022. Regragui's achievements have been recognized globally, finishing third in the voting for the world's best club coach in 2022, behind only Carlo Ancelotti and Pep Guardiola.

Adli spoke highly of Regragui's impact on the national team: «It's like he is a big brother for all the players. He motivates you by speaking, and you just want to run for him, to die on the pitch for him».

Having switched his international allegiance from France to Morocco last year, Adli acknowledges the value of working with both coaches. «It's very nice for me at such a young age to have two very good coaches like this», he told The National.

The young forward also faced personal challenges, including the loss of his mother prior to the Africa Cup of Nations in January. Regragui showed support during this difficult time, praising Adli's resilience and commitment to the national team.

At Bayer Leverkusen, Adli has been a key figure in the club's recent success. Under Alonso's leadership, Leverkusen secured their first-ever Bundesliga title last season, completing a domestic double. Adli praised Alonso's coaching style, stating, «He works a lot with the players and is very good because he's always speaking positively on the pitch during training».

The team's resilience was evident in their recent Super Cup victory against Stuttgart, where they equalized in the last minute and won on penalties, despite playing with ten men. Alonso commended the team's «big spirit» following the win.

As Adli continues to develop under these two influential coaches, he remains focused on contributing to both his club and national team's successes. His experiences with Alonso and Regragui are shaping him into a more versatile and motivated player, ready to face the challenges ahead in his football career.
