Moroccan clementines are establishing a stronger presence in the German market, offering the most competitive prices in the clementine segment. However, the increased market share comes with mixed quality reviews from buyers, according to recent market observations.

According to the Federal Office for Agriculture and Food (BLE) in Germany, Moroccan imports have attracted increased attention in the citrus market, particularly in the post-Saint Nicholas week period. The report indicates that while Moroccan clementines maintained the lowest prices in the category, quality inconsistencies were noted in some shipments. Spanish varieties, specifically Clemenules and Oronules, continue to dominate the market segment.

In the tomato sector, Morocco maintains a significant position in the German market, particularly in the round tomato category. However, recent shipments have faced challenges due to condition issues, resulting in necessary price discounts to facilitate sales. The market report also indicates Morocco's presence in the bell pepper segment, where it competes alongside Spanish and Turkish offerings in a market characterized by positive demand and limited supply.
