Agadir police investigate foreign SUV driver for unauthorized beach entry

The Agadir Police Department responded swiftly on Tuesday, July 22, after a photo began circulating on social media showing an SUV driving across the city’s beach. The image, which drew widespread attention, raised safety concerns as users pointed out that the vehicle, bearing a foreign license plate, was seen navigating the sand near beachgoers.

According to a security source, police launched an investigation following the online posts and confirmed that the case is being handled by the precinct responsible for the Agadir area. Officers on patrol at the beach quickly intercepted the driver after he entered the sandy area, reportedly unaware of local regulations.
