On Sunday in Tetouan, three students affiliated with the Organization for Student Renewal were detained and taken to a security facility while leading a campaign near a Carrefour store. Their initiative called for a boycott of products that support Israel, according to a statement from the organization.

The organization strongly condemned the security intervention, describing it as a «restriction on student and civil liberties». They emphasized that the detained students' call was peaceful, representing a civilized and legitimate protest against certain companies' support for the Zionist narrative and their backing of the occupying entity that continues to harm innocent Palestinians.

In response, social media activists have voiced their support for the detained students and criticized the crackdown on boycott campaigns, which occur amid the ongoing Israeli conflict in Gaza.
