Nasser Zefzafi granted exceptional leave from prison to attend father’s funeral in Al Hoceima

Hirak Rif leader Nasser Zefzafi arrived in Al Hoceima on Thursday to attend the funeral of his father, who passed away on Wednesday after a long battle with illness.

Zefzafi, who is serving a 20-year prison sentence in Tangier, was granted an exceptional permit to be present at the ceremony.

A video circulating on social media shows him receiving condolences from relatives and acquaintances who gathered around him.
