Egypt simplifies visa process for Moroccans with valid residencies

The Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Rabat has announced new measures to facilitate travel for Moroccans wishing to visit Egypt.

In a statement shared on its official Facebook page, the embassy explained that the decision applies to Moroccan nationals holding valid residence permits or previously used visas for countries in the Schengen Area, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the United States, Japan, or the United Kingdom. Eligible travelers will be able to obtain a visa upon arrival at Egyptian ports and airports.

The facilitation also extends to Moroccan citizens residing in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, provided they hold valid residency and re-entry permits. These travelers may enter Egypt directly through border points without the need for a prior visa.
