On Thursday, Morocco and Poland held high-level talks to strengthen their economic and industrial partnership, with a particular focus on the defense sector. The discussions brought together Morocco’s Minister of Industry and Trade, Ryad Mezzour, and Poland’s Minister of State Assets, Wojciech Balczun, who led a delegation of major investors and representatives from both public and private Polish companies.

The meeting explored new avenues of cooperation across several strategic sectors, notably arms manufacturing and industrial development.

«Our goal today is to advance concrete projects that will strengthen joint development between our two nations. Several initiatives are already underway, and these efforts will help create new opportunities and jobs for our young and talented people», said Minister Mezzour.

«I strongly believe that the defense sector is one of the key drivers for creating new avenues of cooperation between our two countries»,

The two parties agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the coming days and to host a Moroccan delegation in Poland next week. They also plan to meet again in a month to finalize the details of the new bilateral projects.
