Brahim Ghali is swiftly progressing with the construction of his palace on Algerian soil, a project anticipated to be unveiled in the coming months. «President Brahim Ghali, who has neither liberated any territory, captured any prisoners, nor even seized a Nokia charger, continues to build his palace on the lands of the Hmada while his people suffer from malnutrition», criticizes Said Sarwal, a Front member based in Sweden, who opposes Ghali's political strategies. His comment is accompanied by two photos of the palace, situated in the Rabouni camp, the administrative hub of the Polisario.

Sarwal highlighted that two weeks ago, the president of the «Sahrawi Red Crescent», a group linked to the separatist movement, alerted donor nations and humanitarian organizations about the dire food crisis predominantly affecting children and women in the Tindouf camps. This official from the Front has appealed to the international community for urgent aid, requesting 100 million dollars to address the population’s food needs.

Prior to the separatist movement's declaration of «war» against Morocco on November 13, 2020, Brahim Ghali had intended to construct his palace in Bir Lahlou, which the Polisario considers its «capital».
