Death toll rises to 37 in Safi flash floods as emergency operations continue

The death toll from Sunday’s exceptional thunderstorms and sudden flash floods in Safi has risen to 37 as of Monday morning, December 15, according to the latest update from local authorities.

Fourteen injured people remain under medical care at Mohammed V Hospital, including two patients in intensive care.
