In January 2026, Spanish meat processor Hola Food, a subsidiary of Grupo Alimentario Copese, obtained official authorization to export its products to Morocco. The move strengthens the company’s presence in the Moroccan market and supports its international expansion, in line with strict food safety requirements.
According to Spanish media, the approval came after Hola Food completed all the required regulatory procedures and was added to the official list of Spanish slaughterhouses and meat-cutting facilities authorized to export to the Kingdom. This accreditation allows the company to enter a new North African market and broaden its export destinations beyond Europe.
Hola Food said the new authorization not only opens up significant commercial opportunities in Morocco, but also reflects the quality standards applied to its products and its rigorous compliance with health and food safety rules set by international regulatory bodies.
