The Ministry of National Education, Preschool, and Sports announced in an official statement released on Wednesday that it has decided to reschedule the local unified exam and the continuous assessment tests for the third phase of the first semester. The decision concerns written subjects that were originally scheduled for Tuesday, January 20, 2026, after leaks of continuous assessment and local unified exam topics were detected on social media platforms.
The ministry also decided to postpone the unified exam and the written continuous assessment tests for the leaked subjects that had been scheduled for Wednesday, January 21, 2026.
It clarified that the necessary guidelines for organizing the rescheduled continuous assessments and local unified exams will be communicated in due course.
The ministry further confirmed that it has launched the appropriate procedures to hold legally accountable anyone who, directly or indirectly, contributed to undermining the integrity and credibility of this key educational process.
