Saudi Crown Prince inquires about King Mohammed VI’s health

Saudi Arabia’s Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, held a phone call on Sunday with King Mohammed VI, according to a statement from the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the call, the Crown Prince inquired about the health of King Mohammed VI and wished him continued good health and well-being, the statement said. For his part, the King of Morocco expressed his thanks to the Crown Prince for his noble and brotherly sentiments.

In early January, Morocco’s Royal Palace announced that King Mohammed VI was experiencing lower back pain accompanied by muscle spasms, medically described as mechanical lumbosciatica associated with muscular contracture. The statement reassured the public that the condition was not a cause for concern.
