The Polisario Front Terrorist Designation Act continues to gain momentum among U.S. lawmakers. The bill, introduced by Republican Representative Joe Wilson, has now received the backing of Republican Congresswoman Claudia Tenney.

Tenney, who has represented New York’s 24th congressional district since 2023, announced her support on Monday, just days after Republican Representative Don Bacon also endorsed the measure.

Introduced on June 24, 2025, the bill is now co-sponsored by nine members of Congress, mostly Republicans, reflecting growing traction for the proposal on Capitol Hill.
