Rabat to host national march in support of Palestine on April 19

The National Action Group for Palestine has announced a national march to be held in Rabat on Sunday, April 19, 2026, starting at 10 a.m. The march will begin at Bab El Had, proceed along Mohammed V Avenue, and end in front of the Rabat train station.

The demonstration aims to condemn the ongoing aggression against the Palestinian people, as well as policies restricting access to Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and preventing religious practices within them, which organizers describe as a violation of freedom of worship and the sanctity of holy sites.

It will also protest the deteriorating conditions of Palestinian prisoners and reject proposed legislation seeking to legalize the death penalty against them, which is seen as a dangerous escalation and a violation of the right to life, in breach of the Geneva Convention.

The National Action Group for Palestine has called on political parties, trade unions, civil society organizations, and the broader Moroccan public to take part in large numbers, to express solidarity with the Palestinian people and their struggle.
