Delair is set to launch a new branch in Morocco, named Delair Africa, as part of its strategy to boost services for regional clients and solidify its foothold on the African continent, where it has been active for more than ten years.
The Toulouse-based company, a leader in drone technology, plans to establish Rabat as a central hub for its operations across Africa. Under the leadership of Bastien Mancini, Delair employs 250 people and is targeting a revenue of 75 million euros by 2026.
Delair has been expanding its footprint in Africa since the early 2010s, initially exporting its DT-26 drone in 2019 to support national intervention and security forces in Niger. The company's clientele has since grown to include Côte d'Ivoire for border surveillance and counter-terrorism efforts, as well as Nigeria and Chad as part of the multinational force around Lake Chad. Additionally, Mauritania and Benin have adopted the DT-46 model.
