The ambassadors of Morocco and France invite Mauritania to participate in an international conference on peace

On Thursday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, welcomed the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco, Hamid Chabar, along with the Ambassador of the French Republic, Emmanuel Besnier.

As reported by the Mauritanian News Agency, the meeting served as a platform to assess the bilateral cooperation ties that unite Mauritania with both Morocco and France, while exploring avenues to further strengthen and expand these relations across various sectors of shared interest.

During this engagement, the minister received an official invitation for Mauritania to take part in an international conference on peace, which is anticipated to be co-organized by Morocco and France.
