Bryan Adams’ much-awaited concerts in Morocco will see a change of venue for the Rabat date. Organizers announced that the Rabat show will now take place at the newly inaugurated Royal Theatre instead of the Mohammed V Theatre, where it was initially scheduled for May 5. The move aims to provide a setting more in line with the scale of the event and the stature of the Canadian artist, SNRT reported.
The concerts are part of Adams’ «Bare Bones» international tour, which will also see him perform in Tangier on May 6 at the Palace of Arts and Culture, before a third date in Casablanca on May 7 at the Mohammed V Complex.
Known for its intimate acoustic format centered on voice and guitar, the tour marks the rock icon’s first performances in Morocco. Organized by Global Entertainment in partnership with NuCoast and NRJ Morocco, the shows are expected to draw strong public interest.
Inaugurated on April 22, the Royal Theatre of Rabat is located in the Bouregreg Valley near the Hassan Tower and the Mohammed V Mausoleum. The venue is part of the Rabat City of Light development program and reflects Morocco’s ambition to position culture at the heart of its growth.
