Marseille authorizes Nayef Aguerd to continue rehabilitation in Morocco

Moroccan international Nayef Aguerd has been authorized by Olympique de Marseille to travel to Morocco to continue his rehabilitation program in coordination with the medical staff of the Moroccan national team, the French club announced on Thursday.

In a medical statement, Marseille said the decision was taken as part of the player’s ongoing treatment and recovery process. The club added that it remains in close coordination with the various medical teams involved and wished all injured players a speedy recovery.

Aguerd successfully underwent surgery in March after months of suffering from chronic groin pain caused by a sports hernia that began in October.
