Morocco is home to 432 ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs), people with fortunes exceeding $30 million, in 2026, according to a new edition of Knight Frank’s The Wealth Report 2026.
The figure has risen from 301 wealthy individuals in 2021, marking a 41.6% increase over five years. Knight Frank expects Morocco’s ultra-wealthy population to reach 550 by 2031, representing projected growth of 27.3%.
Globally, the report shows that wealth continues to grow rapidly. The worldwide population of UHNWIs increased from 551,435 in 2021 to 713,626 in 2026.
North America remains the world’s leading wealth hub, accounting for 37% of the global UHNWI population in 2026, with the United States alone expected to represent 41% of the world’s ultra-wealthy by 2031. Asia-Pacific follows with nearly 31%, while Europe accounts for just over a quarter of the global total.
Knight Frank said the report is based on its updated Wealth Sizing Model, which tracks the evolution of private wealth worldwide and analyzes trends in investment, luxury assets, family offices, and prime real estate markets.
