Three brothers detained over viral video involving six-year-old child and alcohol

The King’s Prosecutor at the Benslimane Court of First Instance on Monday ordered the detention of three brothers and their prosecution while in custody, following their appearance before the public prosecutor’s office on serious charges. The case stems from a video that sparked widespread outrage after showing a minor being encouraged to consume alcohol.

The suspects are being prosecuted on charges including defamation, intentional harm and complicity, as well as failure to assist a person in danger.
