The first representatives of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) have arrived at the U.S.-led headquarters in Kiryat Gat, Israel, as part of the International Stabilization Force (ISF) established under the Peace Council launched by U.S. President Donald Trump in February, according to Israeli journalists from Kan News.

The ISF is expected to include around 5,000 Indonesian soldiers, along with additional contingents from Kazakhstan, Morocco, Albania and Kosovo.

The deployment of Moroccan military personnel had been delayed by several weeks. Hebrew-language media reported in March that Moroccan troops were expected to be deployed to Gaza as early as May.

Morocco's participation in the mission was first announced on February 19 in Washington by Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita, who confirmed that the kingdom had agreed to join the ISF, which is tasked with operating in Gaza.

In addition to contributing personnel to the force and its command structure, Morocco is also expected to establish a military field hospital in the Gaza Strip.
