On Wednesday, Donald Trump’s daughter and senior advisor Ivanka Trump landed in Morocco to promote the Women’s Global Development and Prosperity Initiative. Received in Rabat by Princess Lalla Meryem of Morocco, Ivanka Trump was wearing an embroidered suit jacket made by Moroccan designed Fadila Elgadi.

The grey jacket was a traditional one that she paired with matching pants and high heels. On Twitter, Fadila Elgadi could not hide her excitement seeing her designs being worn by the American politician.

«Happy to see my designs cross the Atlantic. Thank you Ivanka», wrote the Moroccan designer who owns several shops in Morocco and a showroom in Paris.

For the record, Donald Trump’s senior advisor is expected to meet Moroccan officials in both Rabat and Casablanca in her third overseas trip to promote women’s economic development through the initiative launched in February. She promoted the same program during previous trips to sub-Saharan Africa and South America.
