Hong Kong protests : Foreign Affairs Ministry sets up a crisis unit to assist Moroccans

In the middle of the current protests taking place in Hong Kong, Morocco’s Foreign Affairs Ministry has set up a crisis unit to assist Moroccans living in the autonomous territory.

In a communiqué posted on Twitter, the Ministry announced the creation of the unit, putting a hotline for Moroccans who want to reach the Moroccan mission in China.

The Hong Kong protests are an ongoing series of demonstrations triggered by the introduction of the Fugitive Offenders amendment bill by the Hong Kong government. The Anti-Extradition Law Amendment Bill movement have cause a series of riots as protesters are accused of firing arrows at the police and disrupting traffic.
