In February 2020, Morocco and Pakistan agreed to revive their military cooperation through high-level visits and joint exercises. Five years later, Pakistan’s defense industry may establish a presence in the Kingdom—while India is already active on Moroccan soil.
Moroccan independence figure Ahmed Balafrej was granted Pakistani citizenship to address the UN in 1952 and call for the end of French colonialism. The act cemented excellent diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Morocco.
