On January the 30th, General Affairs Minister Lahcen Daoudi announced that Morocco will start capping fuel prices in March. The Conseil de la Concurrence, a Moroccan authority charged with combatting anti-competitive practices, disapproved of Daoudi’s decision.
Morocco is to start capping fuel prices in March, General Affairs Minister Lahcen Daoudi said in a video published by his party’s website. The decision comes after it was announced in 2018.
Capping oil prices, a plan initiated by the government in July, «is not an urgent matter» as oil companies have dropped their prices, said General Affairs Minister Lahcen Daoudi on Monday.
