35.36.وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَهُمْ نَارُ جَهَنَّمَ لَا يُقْضَى عَلَيْهِمْ فَيَمُوتُوا وَلَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنْهُم مِّنْ عَذَابِهَا كَذَلِكَ نَجْزِي كُلَّ كَفُورٍ

35.36. Quant à ceux qui ne croient pas, c'est au feu de la Géhenne qu'ils seront livrés, et ni la mort ne mettra fin à leurs tourments ni ces derniers ne connaîtront d'allégement. Tel est le châtiment que Nous infligerons à tout négateur endurci.

35.36 . But as for those who disbelieve , for them is fire of hell ; it taketh not complete effect upon them so that they can die , nor is its torment lightened for them . Thus We punish every ingrate .

35.36. Waallatheena kafaroo lahum naru jahannama la yuqda AAalayhim fayamootoo wala yukhaffafu AAanhum min AAathabiha kathalika najzee kulla kafoorin

35.37.وَهُمْ يَصْطَرِخُونَ فِيهَا رَبَّنَا أَخْرِجْنَا نَعْمَلْ صَالِحاً غَيْرَ الَّذِي كُنَّا نَعْمَلُ أَوَلَمْ نُعَمِّرْكُم مَّا يَتَذَكَّرُ فِيهِ مَن تَذَكَّرَ وَجَاءكُمُ النَّذِيرُ فَذُوقُوا فَمَا لِلظَّالِمِينَ مِن نَّصِيرٍ

35.37. Et de la Géhenne s'élèveront leurs hurlements : «Seigneur ! Fais-nous sortir d'ici pour que nous accomplissions de bonnes œuvres ! Plus jamais nous ne recommencerons ce que nous faisions autrefois.» – «Ne vous avions-Nous pas donné une vie assez longue pour réfléchir, si vous l'aviez voulu?, leur sera-t-il répondu. Un messager n'est-il pas venu vous avertir? Subissez donc vos tourments. Il n'y a point de secours pour les injustes.»

35.37 . And they cry for help there , ( saying ) : Our Lord! Release us ; we will do right , not ( the wrong ) that we used to do . Did not We grant you a life long enough for who reflected to reflect therein? And the warner came unto you . Now taste ( the flavor of your deeds ) , for evil doers have no helper .

35.37. Wahum yastarikhoona feeha rabbana akhrijna naAAmal salihan ghayra allathee kunna naAAmalu awa lam nuAAammirkum ma yatathakkaru feehi man tathakkara wajaakumu alnnatheeru fathooqoo fama lilththalimeena min naseerin

35.38.إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَالِمُ غَيْبِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ إِنَّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ

35.38. En vérité, Dieu connaît les mystères des Cieux et de la Terre, comme Il connaît aussi bien ce que recèlent les cœurs.

35.38 . Lo! Allah is the knower of the Unseen of the heavens and the earth . Lo! He is Aware of the secret of ( men ' s ) breasts .

35.38. Inna Allaha AAalimu ghaybi alssamawati waal-ardi innahu AAaleemun bithati alssudoori

35.39.هُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَكُمْ خَلَائِفَ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَمَن كَفَرَ فَعَلَيْهِ كُفْرُهُ وَلَا يَزِيدُ الْكَافِرِينَ كُفْرُهُمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ إِلَّا مَقْتاً وَلَا يَزِيدُ الْكَافِرِينَ كُفْرُهُمْ إِلَّا خَسَاراً

35.39. C'est Lui qui a fait de vous Ses vicaires sur la Terre. Quiconque est infidèle l'est à son propre détriment. Et l'incrédulité des infi-dèles ne servira qu'à les rendre plus odieux auprès de leur Seigneur, et qu'à accentuer davantage leur perte.

35.39 . He it is who hath made you regents in the earth ; so he who disbelieveth , his disbelief be on his own head . Their disbelief increaseth for the disbelievers , in their Lord ' s sight , naught save abhorrence . Their disbelief increaseth for the disbelievers naught save loss .

35.39. Huwa allathee jaAAalakum khala-ifa fee al-ardi faman kafara faAAalayhi kufruhu wala yazeedu alkafireena kufruhum AAinda rabbihim illa maqtan wala yazeedu alkafireena kufruhum illa khasaran

35.40.قُلْ أَرَأَيْتُمْ شُرَكَاءكُمُ الَّذِينَ تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ أَرُونِي مَاذَا خَلَقُوا مِنَ الْأَرْضِ أَمْ لَهُمْ شِرْكٌ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ أَمْ آتَيْنَاهُمْ كِتَاباً فَهُمْ عَلَى بَيِّنَةٍ مِّنْهُ بَلْ إِن يَعِدُ الظَّالِمُونَ بَعْضُهُم بَعْضاً إِلَّا غُرُوراً

35.40. Dis aux impies : «Voyez ces associés que vous invoquez en dehors de Dieu ! Montrez-moi leur contribution dans la création de la Terre ou dans celle des Cieux ! Leur avons-Nous révélé un livre dont ils pourraient tirer des preuves valables? Non, bien sûr, car les promesses que se font les impies entre eux ne sont que des promesses fallacieuses !»

35.40 . Say : Have ye seen your partner gods to whom ye pray beside Allah? Show me what they created of the earth! Or have they any portion in the heavens? Or have We given them a Scripture so that they act on clear proof therefrom? Nay , the evil doers promise one another only to deceive .

35.40. Qul araaytum shurakaakumu allatheena tadAAoona min dooni Allahi aroonee matha khalaqoo mina al-ardi am lahum shirkun fee alssamawati am ataynahum kitaban fahum AAala bayyinatin minhu bal in yaAAidu alththalimoona baAAduhum baAAdan illa ghurooran
