Well, I think that concluding peace is synonym of having at least one heavy burden gone, and gives one the opportunity to focus on their own affairs. This alone is worth giving any rapprochement a good try.

Yet, my personal guess if I try to analyze things on my humble level, is that given the degree of hatred and ideological conditioning Algerian regime and their followers have been demonstrating with great fervour and steadfast dedication, the only 2 ways I can see them offering a rapprochement are either a Providential miracle, why not ... or them being severely hit, beaten and humiliated by destiny to a point they become lean enough to take a lesson not to be forgotten too soon. That's what happened to Germany, amongst others ... Could be, but not necessarily a war. Divine creativity is without limit. May God protect us from His Wrath.

And that's what this Algerian man below seems to prophesize to that Algerian politics. The Algerian man is reporting here what he heard from a mysterious person more than 40 years ago.
"The cause of destruction of Algeria is to be found in Western Sahara"
But more important is the reaction of the politician at the end of the video.
"The guy that told you that prophecy was not right about Western Sahara". They are rushing into it.
