For the hundredth time, this is not a religious conflict but a territorial one

We heard the same thing under the Clinton Administration, the ingredients are not there for a peaceful solution right now. None of the parties are ready to talk. The Palestinians have even taken it up a notch by fighting each other and the Israelis seem to be receiving instructions from the Jewish neocons in Washington instead of deciding at the Knesset, the Lebanon war is case and point on that matter.
This conflict will not be solved unless :
- Islam is taken out of the equation. Islamism has complicated matters. For the hundredth time, this is not a religious conflict but a territorial one
- The US jews stop meddling into this. Their views are twisted and completely cut off from the local context.
- An economical plan is drawn parallel to a peace plan. We can't have a two state solution when one of those states is a gigantic slum. Prosperity has been the basis for a lasting peace in Europe for instance, they'd been at each others throat for centuries before that.

FICHTRE, Jerusalem/Al 9ods is sacred to the three monotheistic religions, if this was a religious war, where are the christian armies swarming to aid their palestinian bretherin ? Might I remind you that there are close to a million christian Palestinians ?
It is called the arab-israeli conflict, not the muslim-israeli conflict. But I guess after pounding that nonsense for the last 30 years in friday sermons, it became truth. Convenient truth for leaders who wanted to divert attention from their failures : "Islam is under attack by the Jews !" and everyone looked the other way while the leaders looted their countries. But something tells me I won't get through to you whatever I say.
