Is internship hours included in 6 months of working time while on student visa

On student status, I am allowed to work for 6 months in an Year.
Is internship hours included in this 6 months.
Is there any official website that clarifies this point

An internship count as an internship, which is a part of your studies curriculum.
You can work in the same time If you want (60% of the full time).
