Imider residents benefit from COP22 to raise public awareness of their ecological rights

Imider is the village in the south of Marrakech, whose inhabitants protest against the Metallurgical Company of Imiter (SMI), a subsidiary of Managem, the mining holding company of the National Investment Company (SNI) Money. The exploitation of groundwater, unemployment and the underdevelopment of the region are the causes of an unbalanced armed struggle between the villagers and the society of exploitation that lasts for years.
