Moroccans stuck at Spanish customs checks because of their vehicles’ temporary plates

Several Moroccans living abroad, returning to Europe after visiting Morocco with their vehicles, which have provisional plates, found themselves stranded at the Algeciras port. They have to pay a sum equivalent to 30% of the value of their cars, as they are deemed to have been illegally imported to Spain.
