1,375 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 153,761.
2,091 new recoveries were recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries in the Kingdom to 129,498.
31 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 2,636. 5 of these deaths were recorded in the region of Casablanca-Settat, 5 in Fès-Meknès, 4 in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima, 2 in Drâa-Tafilalet, 2 in Souss-Massa, 3 in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, 5 in Marrakech-Safi, 2 in Beni Mellal-Khénifra and 3 in the Oriental region.
The country has 21,627 active cases, including 464 in critical conditions. 48 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat recorded 529 cases: 360 Casablanca, 10 in El Jadida, 21 in Berrechid, 4 in Mohammedia, 91 in Settat, 13 in Mediouna, 26 in Nouaceur, 3 in Sidi Bennour and 1 cases in Benslimane.
Then comes Rabat-Salé-Kénitra with 205 cases: 41 in Sale, 30 in Rabat, 41 in Khemisset, 20 in Skhirat-Témara, 40 in Kénitra, 13 in Sidi Kacem and 20 cases in Sidi Slimane.
Souss-Massa follows with 37 new infections: 37 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane.
The Oriental recorded 121 new cases: 85 in Oujda-Angad, 5 in Taourirt, 10 in Jerada, 16 Figuig and 5 cases in Berkane.
Beni Mellal-Khénifra confirmed 107 new infections: 55 in Khouribga, 10 in Fqih Bensaleh, 12 in Azilal, 17 in Beni Mellal and 13 in Khénifra. Drâa-Tafilalet confirmed 19 new cases: 4 in Midelt, 8 in Ouarzazate, 1 in Tinghir and 6 in Zagora.
171 cases were recorded in Marrakech-Safi (117 in Marrakech, 6 in Rhamna, 19 in Kelaa des Sraghna, 13 in Essaouira and 16 cases in Youssoufia), 95 confirmed infections in Tangier-Tétouan -Al Hoceima (10 in Tanger-Assilah, 33 in Tétouan, 5 in M'Diq-Fnideq, 28 in Larache, 2 in Chefchaouen, 10 in Al Hoceima and 7 cases in Ouazzane) and 57 confirmed cases in Fès-Meknes (15 in Taza, 19 in Fès, 11 in Meknes, 1 in Boulmane, 4 in Sefrou, 6 in Taounat and 1 in Moulay Yaacob).
In the southern provinces, 16 new cases were confirmed in the province of Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab.
