2,264 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 199,745.
2,727 new recoveries were recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries in the Kingdom to 165,922.
72 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 3,373. 23 of these deaths were recorded in the region of Casablanca-Settat, 11 in the Oriental, 9 in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, 7 in Fès-Meknès, 7 in Souss-Massa, 6 in Marrakech-Safi, 5 in Tangier -Tétouan-Al Hoceima, 3 in Beni Mellal-Khénifra and one death in Drâa-Tafilalet.
The country has 30,450 active cases, including 764 in critical conditions. 56 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat recorded 880 new cases: 725 in Casablanca, 55 in Settat, 35 in Nouaceur, 22 in Berrechid, 18 in El Jadida, 15 in Mohammedia, 6 in Mediouna, 3 in Benslimane and one case in Sidi Bennour. Next comes the Oriental region with 376 new cases: 227 in Oujda-Angad, 42 in Jerada, 35 in Berkane, 30 in Guercif, 23 in Figuig, 10 in Driouch and 9 cases in Taourirt.
Rabat-Salé-Kenitra follows with 325 new infections: 96 in Kénitra, 83 in Rabat, 66 in Salé, 34 in Skhirat-Témara, 24 in Sidi Kacem and 22 in Khemisset. 194 cases were confirmed in Marrakech-Safi: 67 in Marrakech, 38 in Kelaa des Sraghna, 26 in Rhamna, 23 in Youssoufia, 19 in Chichaoua, 13 in Al Haouz, 7 in Essaouira and one case in Safi.
Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima recorded 175 new cases: 83 in Tétouan, 36 in Tanger-Assilah, 26 in Larache, 16 in M'Diq-Fnideq, 12 in Ouazzane, one case in Al Hoceima and one another in Chefchaouen.
Fès-Meknes recorded 86 new infections: 38 in Taza, 19 in Fès, 10 in Meknes, 10 in Sefrou, 5 in Boulmane, 2 in Ifrane, one case in Moulay Yacoub and another in Taounate.
83 new confirmed cases were recorded in Beni Mellal-Khénifra (31 in Khouribga, 28 in Azilal, 17 in Beni Mellal and 7 cases in Khénifra), 82 in Souss-Massa (56 in Agadir-Ida-Ou -Tanane, 16 in Taroudant, 5 in Inzegane-Ait Melloul, 3 in Tiznit, 1 in Chtouka-Ait Baha and another in Tata), as well as 20 cases in Drâa-Tafilalet (15 in Tinghir, 4 in Zagora and one case in Ouarzazate).
In the southern provinces, 42 cases were confirmed in the province of Oued Ed-Dahab (Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab) while an infection was recorded in Guelmim (Guelmim-Oued Noun).
