3,985 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 207,718.
2,885 new recoveries were recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries in the Kingdom to 171,591.
61 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 3,506. 16 of these deaths were recorded in the region of Casablanca-Settat, 10 in the Oriental, 8 in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima, 5 in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, 6 in Marrakech-Safi, 6 in Souss-Massa, 4 in Beni Mellal-Khénifra, 3 in Fès-Meknès, 2 in Drâa-Tafilalet and one death in Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra.
The country has 32,621 active cases, including 781 in critical conditions. 64 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat region recorded 1,876 new cases: 1,508 in Casablanca, 92 in Nouaceur, 79 in Mohammedia, 55 in Settat, 51 in El Jadida, 44 in Mediouna, 33 in Berrechid and 14 in Benslimane. Then comes Rabat-Salé-Kenitra with 536 new cases: 155 in Kénitra, 140 in Salé, 139 in Skhirat-Témara, 85 in Rabat, 15 in Khemisset, one case in Sidi Kacem and another in Sidi Slimane.
The Oriental region follows with 451 new infections: 209 in Oujda-Angad, 65 in Jerada, 54 in Nador, 45 in Taourirt, 43 in Berkane, 27 in Guercif, 7 in Figuig and one case in Driouch. 255 cases were recorded in Marrakech-Safi: 165 in Marrakech, 28 in Rhamna, 16 in Chichaoua, 14 in Kelaa des Sraghna, 12 in Youssoufia, 10 in Al Haouz, 8 in Essaouira and two cases in Safi.
Souss-Massa recorded 230 cases: 130 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, 42 in Inzegane-Ait Melloul, 30 in Taroudant, 15 in Chtouka-Ait Baha and 13 in Tiznit.
Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima confirmed 198 new infections: 109 in Tanger-Assilah, 30 in M'Diq-Fnideq, 26 in Larache, 25 in Tétouan, 7 in Chefchaouen and one case in Ouazzane.
In Beni Mellal-Khénifra, 142 cases were confirmed: 55 in Khouribga, 37 in Beni Mellal, 28 in Fqih Bensaleh, 15 in Khénifra and 7 cases in Azilal.
84 confirmed cases were recorded in Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra (77 in Laâyoune and 7 cases in Es-Smara), 74 in Drâa-Tafilalet (46 in Errachidia, 16 in Midelt, 7 in Zagora, 3 in Ouarzazate and two cases in Tinghir) and 58 in Fès-Meknes (21 in Taza, 18 in Fez, 11 in Meknes, 4 in Sefrou, 3 in Taounate and one case in Moulay Yacoub).
In the southern provinces, 49 cases were recorded in Guelmim-Oued Noun (24 in Guelmim, 16 in Sidi Ifni, 8 in Tan Tan and one case in Assa Zag), while 32 others were confirmed in the province of Oued Ed-Dahab (Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab).
