3,460 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 222,544.
3,038 new recoveries were recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries in the Kingdom to 184,313.
67 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 3,762. 13 of these deaths were recorded in the region of Casablanca-Settat, 12 in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima, 9 in the Oriental, 8 in Souss-Massa, 7 in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, 6 in Marrakech-Safi, 6 in Fès-Meknes, 3 in Drâa-Tafilalet and one death in Guelmim-Oued Noun.
The country has 34,469 active cases, including 840 in critical conditions. 69 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat region recorded 1,100 new cases: 846 in Casablanca, 70 in Nouaceur, 49 in El Jadida, 45 in Settat, 36 in Mediouna, 26 in Mohammedia, 22 in Berrechid and 6 in Benslimane. Next comes Rabat-Salé-Kenitra with 639 new cases: 186 in Skhirat-Témara, 143 in Salé, 104 in Kénitra, 87 in Rabat, 71 in Khemisset, 36 in Sidi Kacem and 12 in Sidi Slimane.
The Oriental region follows with 567 new infections: 319 in Oujda-Angad, 59 in Taourirt, 54 in Nador, 45 in Jerada, 44 in Berkane, 37 in Figuig and 9 in Driouch. 295 cases were confirmed in Souss-Massa: 202 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, 53 in Inzegane-Ait Melloul, 29 in Taroudant, 5 in Tiznit, 4 in Tata and 2 in Chtouka-Ait Baha.
Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima recorded 205 new infections: 56 in Tétouan, 51 in Tanger-Assilah, 30 in M'Diq-Fnideq, 25 in Ouazzane, 25 in Larache, 13 in Al Hoceima, 3 in Chefchaouen and 2 in Fahs Anjra. Marrakech-Safi has 153 new infections: 86 in Marrakech, 26 in Kelaa des Sraghna, 11 in Essaouira, 9 in Youssoufia, 8 in the province of Al Haouz, 7 in Rhamna and 6 in Chichaoua.
In Beni Mellal-Khénifra, 123 cases were recorded: 47 in Azilal, 26 in Beni Mellal, 19 in Khouribga, 18 in Khénifra and 13 in Fqih Bensaleh.
119 confirmed infections were recorded in Drâa-Tafilalet (51 in Errachidia, 41 in Midelt, 13 in Tinghir, 13 in Zagora and 1 in Ouarzazate) and 91 in Fès-Meknes (33 in Taza, 17 in Fès, 12 in Meknes, 12 in Boulmane, 8 in Sefrou, 7 in Ifrane and 4 in El Hajeb).
In the southern provinces, 91 new infections were recorded in Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra (87 in Laâyoune, 2 in Es-Smara and 2 in Tarfaya), 41 in Guelmim-Oued Noun (37 in Guelmim , 2 in Sidi Ifni and 2 in Assa Zag), and 36 others in the province of Oued Ed-Dahab (Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab).
