2,526 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 225,070.
2,788 new recoveries were recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries in the Kingdom to 187,101.
64 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 3,826. 14 of these deaths were recorded in the Oriental region, 10 in Casablanca-Settat, 9 in Souss-Massa, 8 in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima, 8 in Marrakech-Safi, 4 in Beni Mellal-Khénifra, 4 in Fès-Meknes, 3 in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, 3 in Drâa-Tafilalet and one death in Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra.
The country has 34,143 active cases, including 842 in critical conditions. 66 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat region comes first, with 864 new cases: 628 in Casablanca, 75 in Nouaceur, 64 in El Jadida, 42 in Settat, 27 in Sidi Bennour, 15 in Berrechid, 6 in Mohammedia, 5 in Mediouna and two cases in Benslimane. Next comes Rabat-Salé-Kenitra with 675 new cases: 306 in Kénitra, 90 in Skhirat-Témara, 83 in Rabat, 71 in Sidi Kacem, 55 in Salé, 52 in Khemisset and 18 in Sidi Slimane.
The Oriental region follows with 262 new infections: 118 in Oujda-Angad, 51 in Berkane, 38 in Guercif, 32 in Taourirt, 18 in Jerada, 2 in Nador, 2 in Driouch and one case in Figuig. 174 cases were confirmed in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima: 43 in Tétouan, 40 in M'Diq-Fnideq, 38 in Tanger-Assilah, 23 in Al Hoceima, 11 in Chefchaouen, 10 in Ouazzane and 9 cases in Larache.
Souss-Massa recorded 172 new infections: 60 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, 39 in Taroudant, 33 in Inzegane-Ait Melloul, 20 in Tiznit, 14 in Tata and 6 in Chtouka-Ait Baha. Marrakech-Safi has 125 new infections: 52 in Marrakech, 19 in Kelaa des Sraghna, 16 in Rhamna, 15 in Essaouira, 15 in Safi and 8 cases in Youssoufia.
In Beni Mellal-Khénifra, 98 cases were recorded: 69 in Beni Mellal, 22 in Khouribga, 4 in Fqih Bensaleh and 3 cases in Khénifra.
64 confirmed infections were found in Fès-Meknes (20 in Taza, 13 in Fès, 11 in Meknes, 9 in Boulmane, 7 in Sefrou and 4 in El Hajeb), 56 cases in Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab (Oued Ed-Dahab province) and 31 in Drâa-Tafilalet (24 in Tinghir and 7 in Zagora).
In the southern provinces, 3 new infections were confirmed in Laâyoune (Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra) while 2 other cases were confirmed in Guelmim (Guelmim-Oued Noun).
