French people found themselves stranded in Morocco again following the suspension of ferry trips between Sète (Hérault) and Morocco.

According to Capital and Midi Libre, this suspension comes as hundreds of vacationers are stranded on the other side of the Mediterranean.

These French people went to spend the All Saints' Day holidays in Morocco, explains Midi Libre, which mentions the experience of Sabrine, a Montpellier woman who found herself stuck in Nador with her husband and two children.

«Upon arrival at the port, Thursday, October 29, the family simply found the door closed», the newspaper reported. «We don't know how we're going to do it», the mother, who fears losing her job, denounced.

She also regrets that the authorities have not warned them about the risks of leaving for the All Saints holidays.

French people stranded in Morocco will have wait for the resumption of trips. «The schedules and protocols are being negotiated between the authorities and the companies. We are also waiting», a source from the port of Sète said.
