4,966 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 293,177.
3,690 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 238,598.
82 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 4,779. 24 of these deaths were recorded in the Casablanca-Settat region 12 in the Eastern Region, 9 in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, 9 Tangier-Tétouan-Al Hoceima 8 Souss-Massa, 7 in Marrakech-Safi, 4 Fes-Meknes 4 Beni-Mellal Khénifra 3 to Drâa-Tafilalet, 1 deaths Guelmim Oued Noun and another Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra.
The country has 49,800 active cases, including 1,051 in critical conditions. 89 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat recorded 1,492 new cases: 1,155 in Casablanca, 84 in El Jadida, 65 in Berrechid, 63 Nouaceur, 35 Settat, 34 to Benslimane, 29 Mediouna, 23 and 4 to Mohammedia Sidi Bennour. Then comes Rabat-Salé-Kénitra with 1,183 new cases: 444 in Kénitra, 268 Salted, 202 Skhirat-Témara, 113 in Rabat, 87 Sidi Kacem, 35 and 34 to Khemisset Sidi Slimane.
Souss-Massa follows with 515 new infections: 304 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, 89 in Taroudant, 70 in Inzegane-Ait Melloul, 24 in Tiznit, 21 in Chtouka-Ait Baha and 7 in Tata. 447 infections were confirmed in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima: 156 in Tanger-Assilah, 75 in Tétouan, 54 in Larache, 51 in Ouazzane, 43 in M'Diq-Fnideq, 41 in Al Hoceima, 22 in Chefchaouen and 5 in Fahs Anjra.
The Oriental region recorded 423 new cases: 133 in Berkane, 95 in Oujda-Angad, 57 in Jerada, 44 in Taourirt, 30 in Guercif, 28 in Nador, 24 in Figuig and 12 in Driouch. Marrakech-Safi recorded 237 new infections: 135 in Marrakech, 35 in Kelaa des Sraghna, 22 in Essaouira, 16 in Youssoufia, 10 in Chichaoua, 9 in the province of Rhamna, 7 in Safi and 3 in Al Haouz.
Fès-Meknes confirmed 160 new infections: 39 in Fez, 38 in Taza, 21 in Taounate, 20 in Sefrou, 13 in Meknès, 12 in Boulmane, 10 in El Hajeb and 7 in Ifrane.
156 cases were confirmed in Guelmim-Oued Noun (90 in Errachidia, 24 in Midelt, 18 in Ouarzazate, 13 in Zagora and 11 in Tinghir) as well as 131 in Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra (110 in Laâyoune , 9 in Boujdour, 9 in Es-Smara and 3 in Tarfaya).
97 cases were recorded in Guelmim-Oued Noun (74 in Guelmim, 12 in Sidi Ifni, 8 in Assa Zag and 3 Tan Tan), 90 in Beni Mellal-Khénifra (54 in Khouribga, 14 in Fqih Bensaleh, 12 in Khénifra, 5 in Beni Mellal and 5 in Azilal) and 35 in the province of Oued Ed-Dahab (Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab).
