Morocco : Turkey insists on the importance of opening the Guerguerate border crossing

As many other countries, Turkey has reacted to the military operation led by the Moroccan army on Friday, November 13, in Guerguerate. The spokesperson for the Turkish Foreign Ministry said, Sunday, that his country «is following the measures taken by Morocco to ensure the flow of goods and people» in Guerguerate, stressing the «importance of opening the border crossing», Anadolu reports.

Ankara voiced on this occasion «its support for a just and long-lasting political solution within the framework of the Security Council resolutions» to the Western Sahara question.
