US Assistant Secretary of State for Educational and Cultural Affairs to visit Morocco

Assistant Secretary of State for Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) Marie Royce is expected to visit Morocco by the end of November. The official is expected to travel to Rabat and Tangier and will be joined by Deputy Assistant Secretary for Academic Programs Caroline Casagrande.

Royce will «meet with senior members of the Moroccan government to discuss bilateral cooperation on education and culture», reads a statement by the US embassy.

During this visit, the official will be celebrating the 200th anniversary of Moroccan-American relations, visiting the only U.S. National Landmark outside American territory and meeting with ECA exchange program participants and alumni, and partner organizations.
