The Central Bureau of Judicial Investigations (BCIJ) dismantled, Monday, a terrorist cell made up of three individuals, aged between 26 and 28. The cell, which operates in the towns of Inzegane and Ait Melloul, is affiliated with ISIS.

Investigators revealed that the head of this cell and his accomplices pledged allegiance to the self-proclaimed caliph of Daesh, before planning terrorist operations aimed at undermining the security and stability of the kingdom, indicates a BCIJ press release.

According to the investigation and follow-up procedures, the members of this terrorist cell sought to obtain firearms and substances used to manufacture explosive devices, while praising the terrorist operations of Daesh in several foreign countries, the same source added.

This operation resulted in the seizure of large and medium-sized bladed weapons, electronic devices and extremist documents. The defendants were placed in police custody.
