2,587 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 327,528.
4,701 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 275,158.
80 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 5,396. 26 of these deaths were recorded in the Casablanca-Settat region, 12 in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, 9 in the Oriental, 8 in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima, 7 in Beni Mellal-Khénifra, 5 in Marrakech-Safi, 4 in Souss-Massa, 4 in Drâa-Tafilalet 2 in Fès-Meknès, 2 in Guelmim-Oued Noun and 1 death in Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra.
The country has 49,974 active cases, including 1,007 in critical conditions. 99 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat comes first, with 729 cases: 596 in Casablanca, 61 in El Jadida, 32 in Mohammedia, 18 in Nouaceur, 8 in Berrechid, 6 in Médiouna, 5 in Settat, 2 in Sidi Bennour and 1 case in Benslimane. Then comes Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, with 663 cases: 240 in Kénitra, 108 in Khemisset, 99 in Rabat, 82 in Salé, 60 Skhirat-Témara, 45 in Sidi Kacem and 29 cases in Sidi Slimane.
Souss-Massa follows with 366 new infections: 159 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, 76 in Taroudant, 63 in Inzegane-Aït Melloul, 51 in Tiznit and 17 in Chtouka-Ait Baha. 232 cases were recorded in Marrakech-Safi: 89 in Marrakech, 38 in Youssoufia, 32 in Essaouira, 26 in Safi, 22 in Chichaoua, 20 in Kelaa des Sraghna, 4 in Rhamna and 1 case in the province of Al Haouz.
Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma recorded 200 infections: 74 in Tanger-Assilah, 56 in Tétouan, 26 in M'diq-Fnideq, 21 in Al Hoceima, 18 in Chefchaouen and 5 cases in Ouazzane. The Oriental region recorded 194 new cases: 81 in Berkane, 60 in Oujda-Angad, 40 in Nador, 11 in Jerada, 1 case in Figuig and another in Taourirt.
58 new infections were recorded in Beni Mellal-Khénifra (18 in Khénifra, 18 in Beni Mellal, 15 in Khouribga and 7 cases in Fqih Bensaleh), 48 in Fès-Meknes (25 in Fez, 15 in Meknes, 5 in Sefrou, 2 in Moulay Yacoub and 1 case in Taounate) and 38 in the province of Oued Ed-Dahab (Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab).
Drâa-Tafilalet confirmed 29 new cases (16 in Midelt, 8 in Zagora and 5 cases in Ouarzazate), 26 infections in the city of Laâyoune (Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra) and 4 cases in Guelmim (Guelmim-Oued Noun).
