Mohammed VI Polytechnic University launches its «School of Computer Sciences»

Mohammed VI Polytechnic University announced, Thursday, the launch of its «School of Computer Sciences» (UM6P-CS), an engineering school specializing in computer sciences.

The UM6P-CS will be hosted in the Benguerir Data Center, which will be a living laboratory of the new school, wrote UM6P in a press release sent to Yabiladi.

The new establishment «is a new addition to the polytechnic and multidisciplinary curriculum of UM6P, by addressing the digital needs of the 21st century», it added.

UM6P-CS is offering engineering training (Bac + 5) specializing in digital technology from the start of the next school year. 

«Both theoretical and practical, this excellence course takes place over two integrated preparatory years oriented towards digital technology, followed by the three-year engineering cycle allowing to specialize in various digital fields including artificial intelligence, human sciences, data, cybersecurity, digital finance, social networks and the Internet of things», it concluded.
