Morocco records 4,592 new coronavirus cases, 70 deaths in 24 hours

4,592 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 345,276. 

4,228 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 294,036.

70 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 5,689. 18 of these deaths were recorded in the Casablanca-Settat region, 13 in Rabat-Salé-Kenitra, 7 in Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima, 7 in the Marrakesh region, 6 in the Orinetal region, 6 in Fez-Meknes, 5 in Sous-Massa, 4 in Beni Mellal-Khenifra, two in Guelmim Oued Noun, one case in Laaoune Sakia Al-Hamra, and Daraa Tafilalet.

The country has 45,551 active cases, including 1,031 in critical conditions. 87 of them are on ventilators.
