3,879 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 327,693.
48 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 6,184. 12 of these deaths were recorded in the region of Casablanca-Settat, 9 in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, 9 in Souss-Massa, 5 in Marrakech-Safi, 3 in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma, 2 in the Oriental, 2 in Fès-Meknes, 2 in Guelmim-Oued Noun, 2 in Drâa-Tafilalet, 1 in Beni Mellal-Khénifra and 1 in Laâyoune-Es Sakia El Hamra.
The country has 42,861 active cases, including 960 in critical conditions. 80 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat comes first, with 1,788 cases: 1,329 in Casablanca, 111 in Mohammedia, 81 in Nouaceur, 80 in El Jadida, 80 in Berrechid, 44 in Settat , 44 in Médiouna, 15 in Benslimane and 4 Sidi Bennour. Then comes Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, with 755 cases: 211 in Skhirat-Témara, 206 Salé, 97 in Kénitra, 89 in Rabat, 82 in Sidi Slimane, 57 in Sidi Kacem and 13 in Khemisset.
Souss-Massa has 394 cases: 103 in Inezgane Aït Melloul, 99 in Agadir Ida Ou Tanane, 83 in Taroudant, 67 in Tiznit, 26 in Chtouka Aït Baha and 16 in Tata. Marrakech-Safi recorded 304 new cases: 162 in Marrakech, 36 in Kelâa des Sraghna, 30 in Essaouira, 21 in Youssoufia, 20 in Safi, 18 in Chichaoua, 12 in Rehamna and 5 in Al Haouz.
Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma follows with 259 infections: 108 in Tanger-Assilah, 91 in Tétouan, 38 in Larache, 13 in M'diq-Fnideq, 4 in Chefchaouen, 3 in Ouezzane and 2 in Al Fahs Anjra. The Oriental region follows with 162 cases: 70 in Oujda-Angad, 27 in Nador, 17 in Driouch, 16 in Berkane, 16 in Taourirt, 8 in Guercif, 5 in Figuig, 3 in Jerada.
Guelmim-Oued Noun recorded 139: 59 in Tan Tan, 55 in Guelmim and 25 in Assa Zag. Fès-Meknes confirmed 106 cases: 35 in Fez, 24 in Taounate, 21 in Taza, 13 in Meknes, 6 in Sefrou, 5 in Moulay Yacoub and 2 in El Hajeb.
Beni Mellal-Khénifra confirmed 81 new infections: 28 in Beni Mellal, 22 in Fqih Bensalah, 15 in Khénifra, 10 in Khouribga and 6 in Azilal. Laâyoune-Es Sakia El Hamra confirmed 58 cases: 55 in Laâyoune and 3 in Es-Semara.
In Drâa-Tafilalet, 56 cases were confirmed: 18 in Errachidia, 14 in Tinghir, 11 in Midelt, 7 in Ouarzazate and 6 in Zagora. Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab recorded 16 new cases, all in Oued Ed-Dahab.
